Perovskite Photovoltaics

Belonging to the so called "third generation photovoltaics", Perovskite solar cells (PSC) technology relates to a family of systems based on hybrid organic/inorganic materials for the conversion of solar energy into electric power.

Currently, a number of research groups are focused on the development of new materials for PSC.

Very recently, Carbon Nanotubes and Graphene have been also considered as a potentially useful material toimprove performances and durability of this kind of solar cells.

For detailed scientific info about carbon nanostructures and perovskite solar cells see the following book chapter:
"Use of Carbon Nanostructures in Hybrid Photovoltaic Devices", in Photoenergy and Thin Film Materials (Ed.: X.-Y. Yang), Scrivener Publishing 2019, 1-47.

Scientific and technical info about non conventional photovoltaics and solar cells in general can be found at NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory).
